This new residential building project supported sustainable practices, which was the perfect fit for Daune. Her clients shared her goals and vision to develop, in stages, a plan that showcased a biodiverse collection of ornamental natives, conforming to a more traditional-style landscape. Perimeter exotics and invasives were carefully removed and replaced with mixed native trees, shrubs, and herbaceous perennials to attract birds, butterflies, and native pollinators as well.
